Due to inclement weather projected for tomorrow (8/13/16), we along with Special Olympics and the Rend Lake Army Corps of Engineers believe that it’s best to postpone the Beach Bum 5K for participant safety.
We will post the new date on the website, social media and email. If you are unable to attend the new date, we will gladly ship your shirt, medal, and bib to you.
We hope to establish a new race date early next week. Stay tuned and we apologize for any inconvenience. This was a difficult decision, but it ultimately came down to our concern for your safety.
The Beach Bum 5K Registration for 2016 is now open!
Benefiting Special Olympics of southern Illinois
